Frequently asked questions
Can't find what you are looking for? Contact our team and we will be happy to help.
How do I check the status of my service application?
Contact our customer service team by phone, WhatsApp or email at cs@hostlink.com.hk with your domain name and we will update you on the status.
I applied online but did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
If you have not received an email from Hostlink within 30 minutes, email cs@hostlink.com.hk with your domain name and contact details so we can follow up.
Should I use IMAP or POP3?
We recommend IMAP. It keeps your email on the server, so it stays in sync across your computer, phone and webmail. POP3 downloads email to one device.
Which webmail interface should I choose?
The available interfaces offer almost the same features — choose the one you find easiest to use.
I cannot send email from my phone. What can I check?
Make sure SMTP authentication is on and uses your full email address and password, and that the port is 465 with SSL/TLS. If your network blocks this port, try port 1025.
